Hawaiian Pork Bowl
This simple and delicious meal works up in 10 minutes when you use your home-canned pork.
Hawaiian Pork Bowl
Ingredients
Rice
- 1 cup rice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
Pork
- 1 pint Canned pork
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp corn starch
Instructions
- Cook rice per directions using pineapple juice instead of water
- In a sperate pan, mix all ingredients and bring to a boil
- Mix cornstarch and water in a seperate bowl, pour into pan with pork and mix well.
- Serve pork mixture over rice

Good question. I don’t eat pork and wondered about chicken myself. Did you ever get an answer??
