I love me some sausage gravy! One of my favorite things to use our canned sausage for is to make sausage gravy.
Super simple, super customizable to your preferences too!
- 1 pint sausage
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream or millk
- 2-3 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- heat up sausage
- mix flour into sausage until all liquid is gone and the meat looks pasty
- add in spices
- add in heavy whipping cream or milk and stir until thick.
