Slices oranges, discarding the end peices. Place in the pot. Cover oranges with water and bring to a boil. Boil for 15 minutes
While oranges are boiling, tie cinnamon sticks and cloves into a square of cheesecloth creating a spice bag. Set to the side.
Drain oranges,
In the pot, place the lemon juice, honey and sugar and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the spice bag and orange slices. Simmer for 40 minutes.
Discard spice bag,Place oranges in half pint jarsadd liquid over orange slicesdebubbleleave 1/2 inch headspaceProcess jars 10 minutes, adjusting for altitude. Turn off heat, remove lid, let jars stand 5 minutes. Remove jars and cool 12-24 hours.
